The mother of all open mic night/variety shows has taken to to the web, and it's required watching for lovers of Broadway, jazz and cabaret. Jim Caruso's Pajama Cast Party takes place every Monday night at 8pm EDT, and can be seen on YouTube, Facebook and BroadwayWorld.com.

'Jim Caruso's Pajama Cast Party' is back tonight at 8pm. Musical guests will be jazz/pop singer/sax player Curtis Stigers, Broadway/film triple-threat Ariana DeBose (Anita in Spielberg's upcoming 'West Side Story'), singer/tapper extraordinaire Evan Ruggiero, British internet singing sensation Debbie Wileman, baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli ('The Opera Guy') and Max Bartos, a young performer who was to make his Broadway debut in Sing Street, which was postponed due to the pandemic.

The performance starred Tony with the talented young artists in the PAL program, and also had Tony doing some fantastic soft shoe with famed member of the Manhattan Rhythm Kings Hal Shane. Tony's friend singer/songwriter/pianist Peter Cincotti also took the stage and sang an original composition.

The McCallum Theatre presents Peter Cincotti on Saturday, December 1, at 8:00pm as part of the Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum series. Born in New York City, Peter Cincotti started tinkling the keys of a toy piano when he was three years old. A year later, he started taking lessons, but his mother asked the teacher to let him play whatever he wanted and to not force classical technique. By the age of nine, he was composing and, in his mid-teens, took up singing. Peter soon became a quadruple threat - pianist, singer, composer and arranger. He spent much of his childhood going to school during the day and playing clubs at night. Legendary music producer Phil Ramone was there one of those nights, a discovery that led Ramone to produce Peter's debut album which reached #1 on the Billboardjazz charts, making 18-year old Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so.

Audiences have started to listen again at Studio 54. That's because Children of a Lesser God is back, and it officially opened last night on Broadway. Directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, Children of a Lesser God stars film and television favorite Joshua Jackson and breakout star Lauren Ridloff, alongside Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Anthony Edwards, Drama Desk Award nominee and Obie Award winner Kecia Lewis, Julee Cerda, Treshelle Edmond, and John McGinty.
