This weekend, Ars Nova raised over $400,000 during the The Ars Nova Forever Telethon, a 24-hour livestream featuring more than 200 artists.

Ars Nova has announced additional details for The Ars Nova Forever Telethon, a 24-hour livestream featuring more than 150 artists celebrating Ars Nova’s past and present, while raising funds to support the company’s artistic programs throughout the unconventional 2020-2021 season.

The Center for Popular Democracy, the nation's largest community organizing network, and Level Forward, the story-driven/impact-minded entertainment company, are bringing a variety of Broadway creative talent and energy to the unprecedented three day summit: TRANSFORMATION 2020: POPULAR DEMOCRACY DEFINED, to be held September 24-26.

The John A. Reisenbach Foundation will host a 30-minute TV special Dear New York on Sat, July 11 at 7pm EST on the four major NY-broadcast network affiliates (WABC, WCBS, WNBC and FOX5) to bring attention to and raise funds for New Yorkers who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic (and those who were vulnerable before the pandemic).

The recent daring, revisionist production of Oklahoma! generated heated debates about re-imagining and re-interpreting classic musicals. What kinds of changes are permissible and enlightening? Where did the controversial Oklahoma! fall on the critical spectrum?

In 1943, a brand new musical from new composing team Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein astounded the world and changed Broadway forever. In 2019, the very same show returned over seven decades later with an equally astounding effect.

Hollywood came to the Prairie this week as celebs caught up at the Tony Award winning Broadway revival of “Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!” at the Circle In the Square.  The hit musical will end its Broadway run as scheduled on Sunday, January 19th.

The company of Broadway's Tony Award winning musical revival 'Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!' celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday at the Circle in the Square with a potluck feast between matinee and evening shows and then was treated to a backstage visit by Ben Stiller with his daughter, Ella after the evening's show.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! had some special guests over the weekend. Jeanna de Waal, who will be starring in the new musical “Diana” this season caught the show and went backstage to congratulate the cast and from the world of science, Neil deGrasse Tyson brought his family to see the Tony winning musical. The entire cast was fascinated with Neil and had many questions about astrophysics and science which he graciously expounded on.

Oh What a Beautiful Evening! Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! celebrated its 250th performance at the Circle in the Square on Tuesday, November 12th with specially crafted cake pop celebration.
