STAGES St. Louis has announced the full cast of their 2024 production of Ragtime, performing September 20 – October 20 at The Ross Family Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. Ragtime tells the story of three families united by courage, compassion, and a belief in not only the American dream but the promise of tomorrow. Told through a dazzling array of musical styles from the era, this Tony Award-winning musical is bursting with emotion and hope as the surprising interconnections of the heart are discovered and history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, and hope and despair are confronted. 

STAGES St. Louis has announced the full cast of their 2024 production of Disney’s NEWSIES, performing July 26- August 25 at The Ross Family Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. The show will be led by Daniel Marconi as Jack Kelly and Taylor Quick as Katherine. St. Louis’ Matthew Cox will be making his STAGES St. Louis Debut when he takes on the role of Crutchie.   Steve Bebout, immediately off of his St. Louis Theatre Circle win as Best Director of a Comedy for last year’s hit show CLUE, will return to STAGES to direct Disney’s NEWSIES. Bebout’s CLUE set box office records as the best-selling production in the history of STAGES St. Louis. Choreography will be created by STAGES newcomer, Lindsay Joy Lancaster. 

KINKY BOOTS is one of those devious productions where the audience gets emotionally involved with the characters and takes in more of a message than they were originally expecting.

The fourth and final production of The REV Theatre Company’s 65th Anniversary season, “A Chorus Line,” opens this evening at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. The show runs through October 3rd.

Zions Bank Broadway at the Eccles have announced that Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will play Salt Lake City’s Eccles Theater from June 14 – 19, 2022.

Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will go on sale Monday, November 8 at 10AM.

Leading the cast as the extraordinary chocolate maker, Willy Wonka, is Cody Garcia, with Jackson Greenspan, William Goldsman, and Coleman Simmons alternating in the title role of Charlie Bucket.
