Spring has sprung, and with it's arrival, comes new plays for theatre lovers of all kinds. Whether you live for intense dramas or would rather escape with zany comedies, there's something for everyone both on and off-Broadway in May 2026.

The Off-Broadway smash Celebrity Autobiography, created by Eugene Pack, will make its Broadway premiere at the Shubert Theatre (225 W 44th St.) featuring an all-star, constantly-expanding, rotating cast.

On Wednesday, August 27, Los Angeles' Harmony Gold Theater was transformed into the Toledo Truth Teller to celebrate Peacock’s original new comedy, The Paper. Check out photos from the event, which saw Tony Award winner Alex Edelman in attendance.

SF Sketchfest kicks off its 21st comedy festival with legend Eric Idle at the Castro Theatre on Thursday, January 18 followed by over 200 shows taking place through February 4 in venues across San Francisco.

SF Sketchfest has revealed the initial lineup for the 2024 Comedy Festival in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale on November 19.

The event honored Academy Award-winning actor and advocate Morgan Freeman, and recognized president of the Surf Industry Members Association and CEO of Vissla, Paul Naudé, as its Ocean Champion. Hosted by actress, comedian, screenwriter, and producer June Diane Raphael, the event concluded with a private concert by Third Eye Blind.

Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Idina Menzel, James Marsden, Yvette Nicole Brown, James Monroe Iglehart, were in attendance at the premiere, as well as Alan Menken. Joining them were guests including, Darren Criss and more. The film’s single, “Love Power” by Idina Menzel is out now. Listen to the single and check out photos now!

Two-time Tony Winner Matthew Broderick, Emmy-winning legend Dick Cavett and  Rachel Dratch (SNL) are featured in the latest episode of The Pack Podcast—“Two Hours Back.”

After losing 154 pounds, he broke the world record for most weight lost for a movie role in cinema history. The record was most recently held by Christian Bale, who reportedly lost 63 pounds for 2004’s ‘The Machinist.’
