The Barn Theatre's (Best Fringe Theatre - The Stage Awards 2019) upcoming production of The 39 Steps is directed by Joseph O'Malley, and running from 10 July - 10 August 2019. The cast comprises of: Tricia Adele-Turner,Jonathan Bourne, Colin Elmer and Max Hutchinson.

The story of Amadjar – the new album from the Grammy award-winning Tuareg musicians Tinariwen - begins at the end of October 2018 at the Taragalte Festival of nomadic cultures in the Moroccan Sahara. Following their appearance at the festival, Tinariwen hit the road and head for Mauritania, via southern Morocco, Western Sahara and the Atlantic coast, to hook up with the singer Noura Mint Seymali and set up and record their new album there.

The brand-new Rave Theater Festival has announced that out of hundreds of applications, 20 shows have been selected for the inaugural festival. The festival will be held this summer from August 9-25, 2019 at Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center (107 Suffolk Street) on the Lower East Side. For its introductory year, Rave Theater Festival has selected a diverse roster of plays, musicals, family-friendly shows, and cross-disciplinary projects.

The production launches the theatre's Built By Barn initiative, transferring shows from the venue across the UK.
