Arendelle will soon welcome new royalty! BroadwayWorld has just learned that Ciara Renée, McKenzie Kurtz and Ryan McCartan will soon join the cast of Broadway's Frozen as Elsa, Anna, and Hans. All three will play their first performance on February 18. They take over the roles from original company members Caissie Levy and Patti Murin and Joe Carroll.

Broadway Dreams partnered once again with Blumenthal Performing Arts on the return of their annual Summer Performing Arts Intensive, Saturday, July 27 through Sunday, August 4, 2019. Lead by an all-star roster of Broadway's brightest stars and industry professionals, Charlotte's rising stars participated in a week-long intensive focusing on acting, vocal performance, and dance.

On Monday night, 16 Broadway stars were featured in Broadway Sings Ariana Grande, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series at Sony Hall. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. On July 29, the series will continue with its spinoff concert, Unplugged, in which Alanis Morissette will be honored at The Green Room 42.

Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts (www.usdan.org), one of the preeminent nonprofit arts day camps in the country, today announced the Festival lineup for its 2019 Season, which kicks off on July 2. Curated by Usdan's Festival Artistic Director Jonathan Shmidt Chapman, the 2019 program consists of student performances as well as 14 different professional acts, representing genres from classical and pop music to dance, poetry, musical theater, and more.
Frozen is celebrating the first day of summer, today, Friday, June 21, with the release of three brand new music videos featuring the current stars of the hit Broadway musical, including the first recorded performance by Ryann Redmond as Olaf, the first female to portray the beloved snowman in any production of Frozen.
