The countdown to the release of the Kristen Lee Sergeant/Ted Nash HOLIDAYS album has begun and we have two swell singles to show off the duo.

An all new video has been released, featuring Kristin Chenoweth and Johnny Mathis performing 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town'! The video features an endearing animated version of the two performers as they ring in the holiday season.

Raue Center presents a special matinee performance of “For Kids from 1 to 92”, a truly a holiday extravaganza, with everything from beautifully lush, traditional fare to great pop-rock songs and joyful family favorites on December 23 @ 1 pm.

Produced by Jacob Durrett and highlighting BRELAND’s one-of-a-kind voice – an electrifying fusion of fire and ice, made for the modern age – the new recording puts a fresh energy on the song first made famous by Nat King Cole. 

The pair will be supported by a five-member, all-female band featuring Megan Palmer (musical director, piano), Miss Tess (bass), Heather Thomas (drums), Thayer Sarrano (acoustic guitar, keyboards), and Anne McCue (electric guitar, lap steel). Produced by industry vet Eli Wolf (Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Al Green).

“Stocking Stuffer” includes “Happiest Christmas Tree,” a Nat King Cole cover; a new arrangement of “The Little Drummer Boy;” a cover of Harry Connick Jr.’s “I Pray On Christmas” and several originals including “Christmas Like,” Straight No Chaser’s hilarious take on Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like.”

What did our critic think of LET THERE BE LOVE at Penguin Rep? Quite often dramas concerning race, immigration, family squabbles (and other issues that we can’t reveal here without spoiling) tend to be in-your-face, preachy and heavy-handed.  “Let There Be Love” is a play about all of the former, with none of the latter.   It is charming, moving, hilariously funny and full of tremendous heart.
