The York Theatre Company presents a one-night only benefit concert celebrating up and coming musical theatre writers, with  NEO 11 on Monday, June 15, 2015 The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).  Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by a champagne and dessert reception to toast the evening.

Prospect Theater Company has announced the Ignite Series: a year-long line-up of concert events at The Times Center, featuring today's new voices shaping the future of musical theater. The Ignite Series will reflect Prospect's dedication to fostering and producing new voices, creating a high-visibility platform for work by emerging artists. 

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF), under the leadership of founding artistic director Shakina Nayfack and managing director Danny Abosch, has announced its 2015 summer season supporting the development of 16 new shows.

Musical Theater Factory will be hosting a party to celebrate the success of its first year. Since its founding in May 2104, the non profit organization has assisted in the development of more than sixty new musicals, with the help of seven hundred volunteers.

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents the 2015 Johnny Mercer Writers Colony Concert, featuring the works of Colony participants Peter Cincotti and Pia Cincotti (The Last Laugh), Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop), Jean Rohe (The Odysseus Agreement), and Patrick Lundquist & Peter Seibert (Puccini). The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) and Goodspeed Musicals are proud to co-produce the first New York City showcase of musicals developed at this one of a kind program.

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) will present A STRANGE LOOP, with Lyrics, Music, and Book by Michael R Jackson.

A successful duo act is like a good marriage. When it really works there's a certain stage chemistry between two performers that's so obvious yet so hard to define. Magically, voices musically blend as one. Stage personas complement each other yet remain individual. There's a charming give and take, a generous sharing the spotlight, and an obvious mutual respect, sometimes bordering on love. Lorinda Lisitza and Ted Stafford have a very good on-stage marriage.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 46 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus later this month to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 25 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

The event will be on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program ("GMTWP") Black Box Theatre, 2nd floor, followed by a meet-and-greet with the writers and performers.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Renee Blinkwolt, Managing Director) announces an October and November lineup of FREE Out Loud readings of brand new work by Play Group and Uncharted writers.

Having established itself as the preeminent night of new musical theatre in Los Angeles, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returns to Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Feliz with a highly inventive program featuring Broadway and local talent. The hilariously irreverent Jordan Kai Burnett (THE MAX FACTOR FACTOR) will host for a fourth time, and we are pleased to welcome as our guest musical director the two-time Ovation Award-winning composer Gregory Nabours.
