To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the Criterion Theatre will host a special gala performance on 24 June 2024 at the historic venue in the heart of London’s West End. Directed by Michael Fentiman, the gala will be hosted by Stephen Fry, celebrating the theatre’s rich history featuring songs, sketches and scenes from the last 150 years. 

Micheál Mac Liammóir’s critically acclaimed one-man show delves into the Wild(e) world of the renowned literary genius. Published in 1961, Liammóir’s play has gained international success on both stage and screen, and the production has now arrived at Reading Rep, upon the doorstep of the infamous Reading Gaol.

Presented by Original Theatre Online in association with Park Theatre, Jonathan Maitland's play The Interview starring Tibu Fortes as Martin Bashir and Yolanda Kettle as Diana, Princess of Wales, will be available to stream online from 21 December 2023, following its recent stage premiere.

Reading Rep Theatre has today announced details of their 2023/24 Season, which will go on sale on Monday 19 June at 12pm.

The Reading Rep Theatre production of Gary McNair's adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde, directed by Michael Fentiman ('Amélie', 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe'), will transfer to Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre from 13th – 27th January 2024, following its critically-acclaimed world premiere run in Reading in Autumn 2022 starring Audrey Brisson.

Audrey Brisson is a quirky intrigue at 4’10”. With little capacity to seem towering and imposing, Brisson has instead perfected the subtleties that are available to her, her ever widening eyes and steadily creeping sneer betray volumes about the conflict raging within the respectable Victorian gentlemen she portrays.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the West End, which has already been seen by over 100,000 people have added two additional performances over the festive season – matinees on 14 December 2022 and on 4 January 2023.
