The Shakespeare musical THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE got the concert treatment and, for a rare treat, the twins in the story were played by twins.

Klea Blackhurst, star of cabaret, nightclubs, and musical theater, has joined the cast of THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE In Concert, to be presented for one night only at Feinstein’s/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Thursday, June 19 at 9:30 pm.

Internet singing sensations Matthew and John Drinkwater are about to play The Twins in a concert staging of THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE and Broadway World Cabaret is passing the time watching videos until June 16th

Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden), and it took the world by storm. FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present the Rodgers & Hart classic musical comedy “THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE” In Concert on Thursday, June 16th at 9:30 pm at Feinstein’s/54 Below (254 West 54th Street).  

A Broadway classic gets the concert treatment, led by some very classy fellas.

The leading male roles of the identical twin Antipholus brothers will be played by real-life identical twins John and Matthew Drinkwater, the young musical duo who have become stars of the internet and have performed at major New York venues including Birdland, Feinstein's/54 Below, The Green Room 42, The Town Hall, and Don't Tell Mama.

Green Day's explosive, award-winning musical will be on the Lambertville stage starting October 1st. The show will have 8 performances over two weekends, closing on October 10th.

A field trip for the BWW Cabaret team yielded great enjoyment and four different takes on The Drinkwater Brothers.

With the Coronavirus stopping all social gatherings and causing the closing of Don't Tell Mama for the duration, MAC has made a change from the previously announced event which was to be held at the club.

The MAC Awards were scheduled to be celebrated on March 30th at Sony Hall. Instead they will be announced via Facebook Live from Lennie Watts' home. The times are a little different now, but the celebration of art is the same.

The Drinkwater Brothers have been working hard all their lives but the last seven months have been particularly special for the men who are taking the cabaret world by storm, right up to today, when their MAC Award nomination came out. Yes, the Drinkwaters are having a great year.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2020 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the four song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.
