The Women's Prize for Playwriting has announced the 50 longlisted scripts for The Women's Prize for Playwriting 2023, selected from 1,002 entries.

With rolling around on the floor, confetti, a paddling pool, and a toothbrush, The Last Show Before We Die is one of the most bizarre shows of this year’s festival. At the same time however, it’s one of the most moving. At its core, this is a show about endings. Last Show is formed around interviews with people from palliative care nurses to the cast’s grandparents about their experiences of all the endings we experience, from death to running out of toilet paper.

The cast for Jamie Armitage's chilling new play, An Interrogation, produced by Ellie Keel, has been announced!  Inspired by a true story, this tense thriller follows a conversation between an ambitious young detective and a seemingly respectable businessman.

Hotter Project (Mary Higgins and Ell Potter) join with their long-term producing partner and collaborator Ellie Keel, to bring their new show The Last Show Before We Die to this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe at Paines Plough's Roundabout at Summerhall from 2 to 27 August, with press welcome from 5 August.  

After being awarded a Stage Edinburgh Award for her performance, Jessica Clark (Versailles, BBC2/ Canal+; The Wife of Willesden, Kiln Theatre; Rotterdam, Trafalgar Studios) will return for the Soho Theatre run and UK Tour of contemporary fast-paced thriller SAP. Clark stars alongside Rebecca Banatvala (Much Ado About Nothing, RSC; The Princess Switch 3, Netflix; The Syndicate, BBC). 

Following a critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the award-winning SAP returns for an extensive UK Tour, including runs at London’s Soho Theatre, Birmingham Rep, The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, and Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, with further venues to be announced. 

In a brand new music video, Camila Cabello performs Million to One from Amazon Prime's Cinderella. The film will be available to stream beginning Friday, September 3.

Hotter Project and Ellie Keel Productions today announced the return of HOTTER and FITTER, to Soho Theatre. The critically acclaimed productions, created and performed by Mary Higgins and Ell Potter, will run as a double bill at 7.30pm (FITTER) and 9.30pm (HOTTER), opening on 27 July, with previews from26 July, and running until 6 August 2021.

45North and Ellie Keel Productions today announce full casts for Amanda Wilkin and Rachael Nanyonjo's recognition, available from 17 February; and Jaclyn Backhaus' The Giant Pacific Octopus Maritime School, the penultimate piece in the audio play series, Written on the Waves, which will be released 8 April. The final play in the series will be announced shortly.

45North and Ellie Keel Productions today announce Olivia Williams in Rafaella Marcus' The You Play Volume Two: The Haunted Woman, her second play in the audio project Written on the Waves. Directed by Jessica Lazar, it follows the previous collaboration on Marcus' debut The You Play: small acts, and will be available from 14 December 2020.
