The Plymouth Arts Center will present a commemorative art show featuring the artwork of the late Larry Basky. The show is entitled “Celebrating LARRY BASKY….A Lifetime of Paintings & Prints from Wisconsin to Maine and Beyond.” The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Friday, March 10 from 5-7pm.

The producers of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, and The American Theatre Guild announced today that single tickets will go on sale Tuesday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. This production is part of the BROADWAY IN SANTA BARBARA SERIES and will play The Granada Theatre for a limited engagement May 20–21, 2023.

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will embark on a UK and Ireland Tour opening at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre on 17 October 2023. Casting and further venues will be announced soon.

Marquette Theatre will present “The Importance of Being Earnest,” Friday, Feb. 17, to Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Evan P. and Marion Helfaer Theatre.

The producers of MEAN GIRLS - the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film - have announced the First National Tour coming to Orange County at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The show will be playing in Segerstrom Hall from March 7 – 19, 2023.

Flutist and educator Adam W. Sadberry will make his Malibu recital debut Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Raitt Recital Hall on the campus of Pepperdine University.

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Playhouse Square have announced casting for the Cleveland engagement of Disney's Aladdin.

Heathers the Musical, will be ushering in a new cast from 21st February at The Other Palace, with the show now booking until 3 September 2023.

The preview show will also include an interview with Marquette University Political Science Professor Julia Azari discussing the history and evolution of the State of the Union.  C-SPAN will have LIVE footage from the House chamber as the Senate, Supreme Court, special guests and other dignitaries arrive.

Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, will present the San Francisco Bay Area premiere of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL at San Jose’s Center for the Performing Arts beginning Tuesday, March 21 and running through Sunday, March 26, 2023.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy in Schenectady playing at Proctors Feb. 3 -5. Proctors will be partnering with Lucky Seat. At the end of Jan., patrons will have a chance to win $25 tickets for the run at Proctors in Schenectady. A limited number of tickets will be available.

New Orleans production company Crescent City Stage is about to kick off 2023 with its latest production of CRY IT OUT by Molly Smith Metzler. This comedy takes an honest (and sharp) look at the double-edged sword of motherhood in all the joys and tribulations that come with it. Directed by Jana Mestecky, CRY IT OUT will run Jan. 26-Feb. 9, 2023, at the Marquette Theater at Loyola University.

First Stage's next offering in the new year is a thrilling production of THE HOBBIT, based on the book The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and adapted for the stage by Greg Banks and directed by Artistic Director Jeff Frank.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of SOME LIKE IT HOT will be recorded this month and released March 24 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide, with physical release to follow.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON returns to the Lowcountry for a limited engagement May 5-7, 2023 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. 

Disney’s hit musical Aladdin will welcome Sonya Balsara to the company as Jasmine beginning Thursday, January 19. Aladdin marks Balsara’s Broadway debut, though she played the role on Broadway for several weeks last fall.
