Wildhorn, who has been posting popular 'Living Room Concerts,' brought together stars including Jeremy Jordan, Laura Osnes, Capathia Jenkins, Constantine Maroulis, amongst the cast from across the globe to support The World Health Organization's Covid19 Response Fund (covid19responsefund.org), the only global organization with a reach as wide as that of the cast on the video, while providing a musical love letter to the world at this unprecedented and unpredictable time.

A film adaptation on stage is always be trapped between different expectations: It can be too close to the movie or new settings or/and new songs may leave the audience unsatisfied. This show manages this fine line. Although I haven't seen the film for years, I am surprised how many details and phrases I recognised and which are used to bring the movie alive onstage.

BroadwayWorld has learned that the original Broadway production of Pretty Woman will end its run at the Nederlander Theatre on Aug. 18. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will have played 27 preview performances and 421 regular performances by its final performance on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 7:30pm. The new musical began performances on Broadway on July 20, 2018, and opened a month later on Aug. 16.
