One of Chicago's most popular and acclaimed musical duos, Anne Burnell and Mark Burnell have released the second single and video PEPPERMINT TEA, from their upcoming, eagerly awaited album TWO FOR THE ROAD.

Anne Burnell and Mark Burnell are releasing their eagerly awaited, long overdue duo CD in twenty-two years entitled TWO FOR THE ROAD. To celebrate the event, they will be performing a CD release concert at the Epiphany Center for the Arts, 201 South Ashland, Chicago, Wednesday, August 17, at 7:30pm.

Anne Burnell and Mark Burnell are releasing their first and long overdue, eagerly awaited recording in over twenty years: the title track from their forthcoming album TWO FOR THE ROAD, on July 17.

After four sold-out Skokie Theatre concerts, Chicago musical favorite Russ Goeltenbodt returns to the theater for his first concert in five years - Live At 65. Marking his 65th year, Russ will musically cover his younger years growing up in Skokie, his love life and his next chapter. Russ will be backed musically by the Mark Burnell Trio and joined with special guest Carla Gordon.

This Spring, Chicago Cabaret Professionals is presenting two unique concerts — Musical Mondays — that showcase the talents of more than 25 local cabaret artists. The all-ages concerts will be at Szold Hall, Old Town School of Folk Music, in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. 

Never before has there been a collection of Chicago's African American singers, Parisian Cabaret, LGBTQIA artists, and the classic American standards all coming together to celebrate 100 Years of Chicago Cabaret!

Davenport’s Piano Bar & Cabaret, Chicago’s premier location for enjoying music in an intimate setting, announces its roster of September performances in its Cabaret and Piano Bar. Paramount Pictures has released the new trailer for The Rhythm Section. In the film, Blake Lively stars as Stephanie Patrick, an ordinary woman on a path of self-destruction after her family is tragically killed in a plane crash. When Stephanie discovers that the crash was not an accident, she enters a dark, complex world to seek revenge on those responsible and find her own redemption.

Turning 100 is a rare thing in this world and is definitely something to be celebrated - even if you're a piano. This September Tortoise Supper Club (TSC) owners Keene & Megan Addington will be hosting an epic celebration inspired by one very special musical instrument. While the River North restaurant is primarily known for its critically acclaimed food and outstanding hospitality, it's also a destination for after-dinner entertainment. On weekends, the Lounge at TSC is transformed into a classic cabaret, where Sinatra-style jazz music is performed live on a beautiful Grand Piano. The Steinway Concert Grand Piano that sits in TSC's Lounge has been in the Addington family since 1919 and, over the course of the past 100 years, become a piece of Chicago history. Keene's grandmother, Sarah Armour, received the impressive instrument for her 10th birthday and went on to become an accomplished musician as well as passionate supporter of Ravinia Festival, Lyric Opera and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The Chicago-based family's philanthropic support of Ravinia Festival has resulted in a multi-generational friendship between the family and the organization: Welz Kauffman, President/CEO of Ravinia, actually played the family's Steinway Concert Grand Piano at the funeral of Mrs. Sarah Armour and Keene is a third-generation board member of Ravinia. In honor of the piano's 100th birthday, Tortoise Supper Club will be hosting a week-long celebration of music, food, drinks and Windy City history. Variety reports that Blake Lively-led 'The Rhythm Section,' which was scheduled to be released in November, will not be released until late January.

Acclaimed Chicago cabaret and theater favorites Judy Rossignuolo-Rice and Bernie Rice will be performing songs from the Great White Way including Fiddler on the Roof, Man of LaMancha, Gypsy, Bells are Ringing, and many more in their show Broadway Comes to Boystown! At Drew's on Halsted, Sunday, July 22nd. . It promises to be an evening of fun and great music performed in their special way. The husband and wife team have performed at the Park West, Skokie Theatre, and appear many times at Monday Night Live At Petterino's.

The Chicago Paris Cabaret Connexion announces its next singers' exchange, a 'Tour de France' from September 12-22, 2019. Thirty performers (most from Chicago) comprise the US delegation.
