Off-Broadway Producers John Lant and Tamra Pica, in association with Write Act Repertory, are pleased to announce another extension, into its 3rd year, of their world premiere FRANKENSTEIN, a new romantic musical based on Mary Shelley's novel, with book, music and lyrics by Eric B. Sirota and directed by Clint Hromsco. The production opened October 2, 2017, and now plays on a new day of the week, Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., beginning July 2, 2019.

Producer John Lant, Write Act Repertory and Tamra Pica have announced that FRANKENSTEIN, playing Off-Broadway at St. Luke's Theatre on Mondays at 7 PM, has added two Friday matinees at 11 AM on Feb. 15 and March 22, to accommodate school trips; It is an open run, with tickets now on sale through March. Following its initial casting announcement, The Muny announced today additional principal casting for its spectacular 99th season. This star-packed group includes a mixture of some of the brightest names from stage and screen, with many making their Muny debut this summer.

A musical formed by the geniuses of Mel Brooks, Nathan Lane, and Matthew Broderick would no doubt be a comedic masterpiece, and that is exactly what The Producers is. This critically acclaimed musical opened on Broadway in 2001 and broke the limit for the most Tony Award wins with 12, though Hamilton will most likely take that title soon. The show will be at The Gene Frankel Theatre in Manhattan from today, September 11th through the 14th.
