Interview: James Urbaniak Yields a Wide BRUSHSTROKE

John Ross Bowie’s Brushstroke world premieres at the Odyssey January 27, 2024 (with previews beginning January 23rd). Casey Stangl directs the cast of James Urbaniak, Malcolm Barrett, Brendan Hines and Brendan Hines. James took some time from rehearsals to answer a few of my queries.

Ammunition Theatre Company Presents Carla Ching's New Play REVENGE PORN OR THE STORY OF A BODY

Winner of the first Los Angeles New Play Project Award, Carla Ching's Revenge Porn or The Story of a Body” makes its world premiere on Friday, September 23, 2022 at The Pico. Directed by Bernardo Cubría for Ammunition Theatre Company where it was part of the 2021 Ammo Writers' Lab, the play takes a very public look into the private lives of people who hurt the ones they love most.

Jamie Denbo Joins Cast Of Play-Per-View's Live Reading Of BRUSHSTROKE, December 20

Play-PerView announced today that actress, writer and comedienne Jamie Denbo (“Ronna & Beverly”) has joined the upcoming LIVE reading of “Brushstroke,” a new comedy by John Ross Bowie (Four Chords and a Gun) and directed by Casey Stangl. Ms. Denbo replaces the previously announced Brian Huskey and will share the stage with Malcolm Barrett ('Timeless'), John Ross Bowie ('The Big Bang Theory'), Ana Ortiz ('Ugly Betty'), and James Urbaniak ('The Venture Brothers').
