Play-PerView is heading to the west coast for its next two Live and Live-Streamed Theatrical Events.

On Monday December 20, Play-PerView will present a LIVE reading of _"Brushstroke," a new comedy by John Ross Bowie (Four Chords and a Gun_) and directed by Casey Stangl. The play will be read LIVE at 7pm (PST) at Dynasty Typewriter at The Hayworth Theatre (2511 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA), and streamed online (on demand through December 28th). Tickets for the LIVE and LIVE-STREAM performance are $15-$20 and may be obtained here. Net proceeds will benefit Lower Depth Theatre Company.

In Brushstroke, it's New York City, 1956. A daring, inventive painter meets an extraordinarily nervous patron. But is the patron being followed? And if so ... by whom?

The cast features Malcolm Barrett ("Timeless"), John Ross Bowie ("The Big Bang Theory") Brian Huskey ("Children's Hospital"), Ana Ortiz ("Ugly Betty"), and James Urbaniak ("The Venture Brothers").

On Sunday, January 23, Play-PerView will present a LIVE reading of "The Medievalists," a new play on olde themes, by Bill Corbett ("Mystery Science Theater 3000") and directed by Casey Stangl. An "Official Selection" of SF Sketchfest (The San Francisco Comedy Festival), the in-person reading will take place at 1pm (PST) at Brava Theater (2781 24th Street, San Francisco, CA). Tickets for the LIVE performance are $30-$40 and may be obtained here. Information about streaming will be announced at a later date.

In The Medievalists, a once-respected history scholar crashes and burns on the set of the cheesy TV series adapted from his work. His family rides in on a quest to save the day!

The cast features Paget Brewster ("Criminal Minds"), Jason Ritter ("Gravity Falls"), Kirsten Vangsness ("Criminal Minds"), James Urbaniak ("Thom Pain (based on nothing)").
