The holidays are a drag at Baruch Performing Arts Center as two stars of RuPaul's Drag Race present solo shows in New York City: On Wednesday, December 14 at 7pm, join glamorous RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars favorite SCARLET ENVY for the New York premiere of her first holiday show, HUNG WITH CARE.

In celebration of Whitney Houston's life and boundary-breaking career, M·A·C Cosmetics presented a $25,000 donation to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center to ensure the next generation of music icons have exposure and access to music education programs.

BEETLEJUICE will officially close on Broadway on Sunday, January 8, 2023. When BEETLEJUICE makes its final Broadway bow, it will have played 27 previews at the Winter Garden Theatre and 366 regular performances, and 313 regular performances during its resurrection at Broadways’ Marquis Theater, for a total of 679 Broadway performances.

Wolf Trap Opera has announced the world premiere of BORN FREE, composed by Edward W. Hardy with lyrics by American poet and writer Margaret Walker. BORN FREE, a song cycle based on four poems by Margaret Walker (Sorrow Home, Lineage, The Struggle Staggers Us and Southern Song) for soprano, violin, and piano, is a newly commissioned work by the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.

Tony Award Productions has announced that they are shifting the date for the Tony Award Nominations announcement to Monday, May 9, 2022.  Eligibility for shows opening in the 2021-2022 season has been extended to Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
