Marylebone’s The Cockpit will look across the Atlantic this Autumn, bringing a season of New York plays to the heart of London. Two major productions lead the season: one, a classic revival of Lanford Wilson’s Talley’s Folley; the other, an exciting new musical based on the life and legacy of Rita Hayworth. 

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater is now presenting the world-premiere musical American Prophet: Frederick Douglass in His Own Words, which kicks off the historic theater’s “Surviving and Thriving”-themed 2022/23 Season. Check out photos here!

'Love Goddess, the Rita Hayworth Musical'  is a new musical from New York getting its UK premiere at The Cockpit in London from 18 November to 23 December 2022.

Royal Family Productions will present the inaugural production in a new Young BIPOC Directors series, Romeo and Juliet. This new adaptation of the classic Shakespeare play by Lindsay Price is directed by Lily Ventura.

Following the sold-out success of COVID SUX: The Musical at Cumston Hall, Chris Henry, and Mark Falconer have written a new sequel to their previous original musical comedy about the pandemic featuring parodies of hit Broadway songs from shows like Hamilton, Les Miserables, Tick Tick Boom, West Side Story, Chicago, and Annie.

The Guthrie Theater, in association with The Foxboro Company, today announced that Destiny of Desire will complete its 2021–2022 Season. Prior to an anticipated 2022 Broadway run produced by The Foxboro Company, the Guthrie is pleased to produce Destiny of Desire for its audiences.
