NYC's Royal Family Productions, a theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will remount Chris Henry's popular adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables: Part 1 by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This one-woman show has been adapted and directed by Chris Henry and movement by Lorna Ventura.

Romantic Comedy THE SABBATH GIRL Will Make NYC Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is will host the NYC premiere of THE SABBATH GIRL written by Cary Gitter and directed by Joe Brancato. Produced by Penguin Rep, THE SABBATH GIRL begins performances on Tuesday, February 11 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 8. Press opening is Sunday, February 16 at 2:15 pm. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7:15 pm; Saturday at 2:15 pm & 7:15 pm; Sunday at 2:15 pm. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Based onLucy Maud Montgomery'sbeloved novel, this production is adapted and directed by Chris Henry with choreography by Lorna Ventura and will begin performances on January 24th - February 11, 2019 with an opening night set for Monday, January 28 at 6:30pm. Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo. Joining the previously-announced Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) in Anne of Green Gables: Part I are dancers Brooke Averi, Nichole Forde, Hannah Hall, Kara Menendez, Stephanie Young, and understudy Juna Shai.
