The concept album of Within Earshot: Anthems for the In-Between (previously titled Arrowhead), a new musical with music and lyrics by Jackson Teeley and a book by Sarah Galante, is now available on all streaming platforms. All proceeds through April 27th will benefit The Actors Fund.

La Jolla Playhouse's Fly is currently playing through March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre! FLY, the new musical adaption of J.M. Barrie's tale of Peter Pan brings a swashbuckling, gravity-defying adventure to the stage of the La Jolla Playhouse.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for its upcoming musical Fly, based on the J.M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre announces final casting for the 31st Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre will kick-off this year's Festival of New Musicals at The Green Room 42 (at the Yotel, 570 10th Ave) with The 46th Minute concert on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 PM.  This concert is open to the public and tickets starting at $22, can be purchased by visiting TheGreenRoom42.poptix.com.

Members of the theatre community joined television and film vets to support the ongoing fundraiser for StateraArts on August 22.

Beautiful's Kara Lindsay, Little Known Fact's Ilana Levine, and more came out to support 'Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts' at The Green Room 42 on August 22. The concert was part of the ongoing fundraiser for StateraArts, a national volunteer organization working to bring women into full and equal participation in the arts.

It was announced today that Ilana Levine, host of the popular podcast 'Little Known Facts,' will appear in 'Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts.' Levine joins Rachel Spencer Hewitt in a panel talk on motherhood and the Parent Artist Advocacy League.

Did you know that last year only 17% of creative leadership roles on Broadway were held by women? To help change the stage, The Green Room 42 presents Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts on Thursday, August, 22nd at 7 PM. Join veterans from Broadway, Television, and Film for tales of sisterhood, challenges in the workplace, and overcoming adversity.

Join the Black Broadway community as they perform inspirational cover songs at Darkness RISING: Live 2. The concert benefits Darkness RISING Nonprofit, an organization which focuses on mental wellness in the Black community. The event will be held at the Knitting Factory Brooklyn at 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm). Knitting Factory is located at 361 Metropolitan Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Michael Haynie, who was seen last on Broadway in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jesus Christ Superstar: Live!, join the previously announced cast of Arrowhead, A New Musical which includes Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), Doug Plaut (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt, Hurricane Bianca 2), Nikhil Saboo (Mean Girls),  Dani Shay (The Glee Project, America's Got Talent), Lauren Zakrin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), Laquet Sharnell Pringle (Memphis, Beautiful the carol King musical), Amber Ardolino (Hamilton, Head Over Heels), Becca Kotte (Gettin' The Band Back Together, Rock of Ages), Dan Domenech (Heathers the Musical, Glee), Jasmin Richardson (Gettin' The Band Back Together, Bodyguard the Musical) and Miles Davis Tillman, Mollie Posnik, Meadow Nguy. Michael Childers' star-studded musical production of One Night Only Broadway Showstoppers will be presented on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 @ 6:30pm, at the McCallum Theatre. This year's show benefits Barbara Sinatra Children's Center. In SHOWSTOPPERS, twenty celebrated performers will come together for an evening of all your favorite songs from the greatest musicals. One Night Only will be directed by famed Broadway choreographer and director Larry Fuller, with music direction by Christopher Marlowe.

BeBe Winans just presented the Broadway-bound musical BORN FOR THIS as a one-night-only concert at Feinstein's/54 Below (254 W. 54 St). Sharing the stage with Winans was director Charles Randolph-Wright (Motown), legendary Grammy and American Music Award winning recording artist Stephanie Mills, and members of the cast from last summer's pre-Broadway tryout in Boston including Maddie Shea Baldwin (Bright Star), Liisi LaFontaine(Dreamgirls), Loren Lott (Once on this Island), Donald Webber Jr. (Hamilton), Kirsten Wyatt (Annie), and Nita Whitaker (Ragtime). The evening introduced the BORN FOR THIS story and some of the original songs from the Broadway aimed musical, which also played regional engagements in Atlanta, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.
