Vasthy and Friends will make their NYC debut live and in-person with a family brunch on the The Green Room 42 Stage this November - On November 20th and 27th Broadway actress Vasthy Mompoint will be joined by Broadway Stars Alex Brightman (School of Rock), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), and more.

The Skivvies celebrate the release of their new album with a sold-out show featuring many of the artists on the cd.

MAC is inviting all songwriters to submit their original songs for consideration for one of MAC's two songwriting awards: the Dottie Burman Award and the John Wallowitch Award. Submitters do not need to be MAC members. There is no submission fee. MAC encourages all songwriters to submit their work for consideration.

Oregon Children's Theatre announces its virtual gala, 'With a Little Help from our Friends' to be streamed free of charge on September 18, 2021. Flint Repertory Theatre is presenting Songs for a New World by Jason Robert Brown starring Broadway’s Bonnie Milligan, Emily Padgett, Cory Shorter, and Josh Young. The outdoor concert is taking place July 23rd and July 24th. BWW Detroit had a chance to speak with Director Bill Fennelly and Milligan about it and the importance of live theatre.

The Off-Broadway comedy musical, Camp Morning Wood: A Very Naked Musical announced today that it will welcome the wildly popular undie-superstars, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley) as pre-show guest hosts for one-night-only performance this Saturday, July 17 at 4:15 PM (performance at 5 PM) at the Asylum Theatre (307 W 26th Street).

Just last night, Feinstein's/54 below rocked out with The Skivvies for a night of music inspired by Little Shop of Horrors. Known for their comedic, genre-hopping mashups, Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley not only strip down the arrangements – cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica – they literally strip down to their underwear as they perform.

For those of you who haven’t seen The Skivvies yet, they are Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages, Marry Me a Little) and Nick Cearley (1st National All Shook Up, Sex Tips for Women From a Gay Man.) They are known for their wonderful arrangements of pop songs, show tunes, parodies, and mash-ups. The hook of the group is they do it all only in their fanciest underwear. They play a battery of instruments between them. Big voices and crazy harmonies….but no pants.
