SF Sketchfest has announced additions to the 2025 festival taking place January 16-February 2 in venues across San Francisco.

Audible Inc. and Broadway Video Enterprises, has announced two new original comedy podcasts featuring A-list casts set to premiere this fall: The Best Man’s Ghostwriter, starring Glen Powell and Nicholas Braun, and Stranded, starring Taraji P. Henson and Tracee Ellis Ross.

With 15 nominations, FX’s The Bear was the most nominated series this year, followed by Max’s Hacks and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building with 13 each. ABC’s Abbott Elementary and CBS’s Ghosts are tied for third place, with 11 nominations each.

This summer, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will tap a diverse lineup of celebrities and comedians to guest host the show starting Monday, June 24. Season 2 will drop on the steamer on August 1 with a total of 8 episodes. In this season, Ellis lays out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

Andrew Barth Feldman has joined the cast of SNL 1975, an origin film about the beginning of Saturday Night Live. Jason Reitman's behind-the-scenes film based on the start of the iconic comedy series. The film will have up-and-coming talent playing roles like Gilda Radner, Billy Crystal, Jane Curtin, Jim Henson, Lorne Michaels, and more.

Lamorne Morris (Fargo, Woke) will play recurring guest star Peter. Iris Apatow (The Bubble, Vodka, Young Werther) will play recurring guest star Georgia. They will join the returning cast Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch. Fred Armisen reprises his guest starring role as Leslie.

The Mammoth Film Festival has announced its opening night film, Padre Pio, starring Shia LeBeouf, a film by Abel Ferrara, marking its North American festival premiere debut.

Anthony Anderson, Nicole Byer, Al Franken, Jeff Goldblum, Chelsea Handler, Sean Hayes, Simu Liu, Rob McElhenney, Lamorne Morris, Desus Nice, Mark Rober, Kerry Washington and more are set to host throughout the summer. Dates for specific episodes and further guest hosts will be announced at a later time. 

The featurette includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the guest cast, as well as creator and executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar.
