The upcoming 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival is announcing its slate of World Premieres. This year's festival runs February 7-11, 2019 in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. Mammoth Film Festival will unleash the Jean-Claude Van Damme starrer WE DIE YOUNG as its Opening Night Gala World Premiere film on Thursday February 7. WE DIE YOUNG is an action thriller directed by Lior Geller (award winning short Roads) and stars Van Damme, David Castañeda (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, End of Watch), and Elijah Rodriguez (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Book of Life). Last year's inaugural festival drew headlines for being 'the biggest first year film festival ever organized' and this year's lineup and events aim to repeat and expand the momentum.

The festival's slate of World Premieres include feature films, short films, indie episodics, VR,  and a wide variety of documentaries. Additional projects will be announced in the coming weeks, and MammothFF is excited to align itself with other great film festivals like HollyShorts and SeriesFest in year two of the festival.

To celebrate the holiday season, National Geographic will make the first two episodes of the upcoming limited series Valley of the Boom available for free beginning December 21st in advance of the series' broadcast premiere. The two episodes will be released unauthenticated on NationalGeographic.com and on the National Geographic TV app, which includes mobile and connected devices such as AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast and more. Additional platforms the two episodes will be available include Facebook, YouTube, VOD, Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play and Vudu.

Further expanding its primetime lineup of entertaining and socially-relevant content that attracts a young, multicultural audience, Fuse Media has acquired the exclusive TV rights to WTF Baron Davis. At launch on January 20, 2019 (11pm/ET), the new, eight-episode comedy series starring two-time NBA All-Star Baron Davisand NBA impersonator and social media star Brandon Armstrong (bdotadot5), becomes the first scripted sitcom to have its first-run TV premiere on Fuse. 

Hulu ordered a pilot from 'Woke,' a comedy series starring Lamorne Morris, Variety reports.

National Geographic taps two-time Emmy award-winning actor Bradley Whitford ('Get Out,' 'The Post,' 'The West Wing'), Steve Zahn ('War of the Planet of the Apes,' ABC's 'The Crossing') and Lamorne Morris ('Game Night,' 'New Girl') to star in six-part limited series, Valley of the Boom. From STXtv, the television division of Robert Simonds' STX Entertainment, along with creator, showrunner, director and executive producer Matthew Carnahan (Showtime's 'House of Lies') and executive producer Arianna Huffington, Valley of the Boom will begin filming March 26 in Vancouver, Canada.

GAME NIGHT, the new mystery/comedy from New Line and Warner Bros officially hits theaters today! The film is premised around when a weekly game night turns into an actual murder mystery. GAME NIGHT stars Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Jesse Plemons, Michael C. Hall, Chelsea Peretti, Billy Magnussen, Danny Huston, Kyle Chandler, Kylie Bunbury, and Kabby Borders.
