Fresh off the heels of their highly successful 10th anniversary season of Broadway Under The Stars, Transcendence Theatre Company will present a new and reimagined holiday show for the whole family with holiday favorites, show stopping dance numbers, Broadway show tunes and modern twists on some of the world's most uplifting and cherished songs.
As BroadwayWorld previously reported, City Center cancelled the remainder of its season due to the current health crisis. One production that was cancelled, was Love Life, which was set to run March 18 - 22, starring Kate Baldwin and Brian Stokes Mitchell. However, Jack Viertel, Encores! Artistic Director, has some promising news.

New York City Center today announced complete casting for the Encores! production of Love Life. Joining previously announced cast members Kate Baldwin (Susan Cooper) and Brian Stokes Mitchell (Sam Cooper) are John Edwards (Hobo), Sara Jean Ford (Miss Ideal Man), Isabella Houston (Elizabeth Cooper), Owen Tabaka (Johnny Cooper), and Clarke Thorell (Bill/Mr. Cynic).

The producers and Segerstrom Center for the Arts are pleased to announce casting for the national tour of Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, which will play Segerstrom Hall May 28 - June 9, 2019. As previously announced, Broadway veteran Noah Weisberg (South Pacific, Enron, Elf, Legally Blonde) will star as the extraordinary chocolate maker, Willy Wonka, with Henry Boshart (age 10), Collin Jeffery (age 11) and Rueby Wood (age 11), alternating in the title role of Charlie Bucket.
Broadway comes to Northern California's Wine County with the professional production of A Chorus Line presented by the award-winning Transcendence Theatre Company - based in Sonoma, located just north of San Francisco.
The Boston premiere of the US National Tour of Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY opened at the Boston Opera House this week, just a year after the Broadway production closed. Transcendence Theatre Company, creators and producers of the award-winning "Broadway Under the Stars," celebrates the talents and tenacity of female Broadway professionals with its premiere of 'The Ladies of Broadway,' presented in March 2018 with performances in San Rafael and Santa Rosa, Calif.
The factory is all out of golden tickets. Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory plays its final Broadway performance today, January 14, 2018 after playing 27 previews and 305 regular performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street).
