On Wednesday, January 17th Deborah Grace Winer will celebrate Marilyn Bergman, Dorothy Fields, Mary Rodgers, Jeanine Tesori, Carolyn Leigh and Betty Comden - musical pioneers-in-heels who crashed the boys' club, and wrote hit songs and shows like 'On the Sunny Side of the Street,' SWEET CHARITY, ON THE TOWN, 'Witchcraft,' ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, and so much more.

Recognized by The Village Voice as 'Best Scrappy Brooklyn Theater' in their Best of 2016 issue, JACK presents a flurry of some of today's key experimenting artists in theater, dance and music, with new work by playwrights Virginia Grise, Azure Osborne-Lee, nicHi douglas, Karma Mayetand Justin Kuritzkes, by choreographer Nicole Bindler, and by composer Justin Hicks with director Charlotte Brathwaite.

Lyrics & Lyricists celebrates Women's History Month with a multi-generational cast of divas - Marilyn Maye, Kenita Miller, Nancy Opel, Margo Seibert and Emily Skinner - paying tribute to these and other groundbreaking women artists who stand on their shoulders today.

We all know that February is Black History Month, but did we all take a moment to reflect and celebrate? Well we did just that, Broadway-style, at Sessions on February 23rd. Not only did we invite a starry roster of Broadway's best and brightest to share music representing the influence, importance and impact of African American legacy on Broadway, but we also paid homage to some Broadway trailblazers like Diahann Carroll, Ben Vereen, "Stokes" and more. We even challenged our audience to "name that African American Tony winner," which of course gave us the opportunity to bask in the glorious voices of Melba Moore, Hinton Battle, Heather Headley, Ted Ross, Jennifer Holiday and many more.
