Tony Award nominee Jeb Brown will join the cast of Beau The Musical when it moves uptown to Out of the Box Theatrics’ new home at St. Luke’s Theatre.

Westport Country Playhouse will present “Get Ready for Theatre People! An Evening of Cocktails, Fun Tales, and Backstage Tours”, in advance of the curtain rising on the Playhouse production of Paul Slade Smith's backstage comedy “Theatre People.'

Actor Keir Dullea is helping Jaffrey’s Park Theatre promote their screening of the classic sci-fi film, 2001: A Space Odyssey that is being shown on Friday, October 11 at 6:30pm. Mr. Dullea was the star of the film.

Sarasota Opera has announced the lineup for the 2023 Summer Classic Movies at the Opera House. The Classic Movies at the Opera House series featuring many beloved movies will open on Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm with 2001: A Space Odyssey. Throughout the summer and into the fall, featured movies will include films ranging from the 1930's to the 1990's. Tickets will be $12 and will go on sale starting on Wednesday, May 3. Ninety years ago on June 29, 1931, Westport Country Playhouse opened its doors to its very first stage production. This year, on the exact same day, the Playhouse will mark its 90th anniversary with the opening of the virtual production, “Tiny House,” written by Michael Gotch, and directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director. The regional premiere of the timely comedy about escaping urban life in an isolated mountain paradise will stream on demand from Tuesday, June 29 through Sunday, July 18.
