Universal Preservation Hall is announcing the first batch of shows coming in 2023. Tickets are available through the Box Office at Proctors, in person or via phone at 518-346-6204 Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. or online at UniversalPreservationHall.org starting Tuesday, September 6. Starting October 1, the Box Office at Proctors will extend their hours to include Saturdays. Groups of 10 or more can get their tickets by calling 518-382-3884, ext. 139.

This July, Berkshire Theatre Group will present Songs For a New World, the first musical by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA, and also the 2022 Colonial Concert Series: Featuring Broadway Luminaries Chita Rivera and Charl Brown at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, MA.

​​​​​​Berkshire Theatre Group has announced casting for shows in BTG’s Late Summer 2022 Season. The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

Now, he’s leaned into those “Scorpio skies” Phoebe Bridgers was talking about, bringing “STARSIGN” to life in this circa 2000s pop-punk music video, out today. The original “STARSIGN” demo went viral on TikTok attracting over 230k+ views, with the final track being produced by Ben “Beep” Pleasant, Theo Kandel, and Justin Johnson (Priscilla Block).

This Valentine's Day weekend, discover some new favorite songs and fall in love again with old classics when Berkshire Theatre Group presents two exciting Concerts at the Colonial. On Friday, February 11, Berkshire favorite Misty Blues takes the stage to  celebrate the release of their new album, One Louder, with special guest: The Diego Mongue Band.

Spin Cycle is musically complex, layered, and blends a variety of instrumentation that creates a special alchemy; a sonic fingerprint that directly identifies Kandel. Accompanying each song from the EP will be a music video to further elevate the senses. 

Through the seamlessly flowing concept EP, Kandel captures what he surveys as “the idea of circular thinking that you can have when you experience heartbreak – or any kind of sadness like that – where you keep finding yourself back in the same place.”

The Montreal English Theatre Awards Committee is proud to announce the recipients of the 2019-20 METAs, Montreal English theatre's largest and most important peer-juried awards. MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the next round of artist additions for MerleFest 2020, which will be held April 23-26. Melissa Etheridge, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Marcus King Band, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and John Cowan will be joining the annual homecoming of musicians and music fans on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

The University of Colorado Boulder's new Musical Theatre program will present its inaugural production, a?oeEdges,a?? Oct. 11-13 in the Old Main Chapel. In its first semester at CU Boulder's College of Music, the program has 14 first-year students and three upperclassmen.

To close out their 29th season, Book-It Repertory Theatre (Book-It) presents Imbolo Mbue's Behold the Dreamers. Adapted and directed by Myra Platt, Mbue masterfully weaves a story of class divide, immigration and marriage in her remarkable debut novel. Jende and Neni Jonga have recently emigrated from Cameroon to America to try to make a new life for themselves and their young son. When the Great Recession starts to upend the economy, the Jongas begin to grasp the fragility of the American dream. Behold the Dreamers plays June 6-30, 2019 (Opening/Press Night on Saturday, June 8) at The Center Theatre.

The Marcus King Band have released the video for 'Goodbye Carolina', a poignant, lyrical ballad from their critically acclaimed album Carolina Confessions. The band have also announced a number of UK headline shows this June alongside appearances at The Isle Of Wight and Black Deer Festivals.

Sonorous Road Repertory, the in-residence professional theatre company at Sonorous Road Theatre, brings the critically acclaimed EMILIE: La Marquise du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight, by Sarah Gunderson, to the Triangle opening Friday, March 29th through Sunday, April 14th, 2019.
