In the Wings Promotions presents HAIR - 50th Anniversary Production 8/30-9/9

In the Wings Promotions (ITW) is proud to announce the remount of their critically acclaimed production of HAIR - The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical. Directed and choreographed by META winner Nadia Verrucci with Music Direction by META nominee Ian Baird, this production, back by popular demand, celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the original production of HAIR. HAIR features book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado with music by Montreal born Galt MacDermot. HAIR runs August 30 - September 9, 2017 at the MainLine Theatre in Montreal.

Just last night, New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) 2017 Spring Gala celebrated partnerships with honorees Dartmouth College, whose residency partnership with NYTW spans a quarter of a century; along with longtime NYTW Usual Suspect and Tony Award-nominated Director Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, War Paint), who was an inaugural member of NYTW's 'New Directors Project' in 1984 and rose to prominence with his direction of Machinal at the Public and Rent at NYTW.

BWW Review: Lady Rizo Salutes the RED, WHITE AND INDIGO at Joe's Pub

In her new show, RED, WHITE AND INDIGO, Lady Rizo is all about coming to terms with that "very bad boyfriend" she calls America. "I think he reads my email," she joked with a wry smile, during her first show of a three-night run at Joe's Pub on March 23. "And I know he's f**king with my birth control." And while getting into a relationship thinking you can change somebody is never the best idea, she still had to try. Standing tall in front of a room divider paneled with an upside-down American flag, Lady Rizo was dead-set on reclaiming the idea of patriotism.

Choreographers Revealed for Spring 2015 BC Beat

BC Beat, the bi-annual choreography showcase established to support, explore and experience innovative theatrical dance, announces a line up for Monday May 18th featuring nine choreographers with work performed by a company of 40 artists from Broadway's biggest hits.  The evening kicks off at 7pm with music by DJ Justin Johnston (RENT) at Cielo (18 Little W. 12th Street).

Written by Jimmy Karamanis, Travis Martin and Alexander Smith, No One Like Hugh is an homage to and parody of Shakespeare's mistaken-identity comedies. Cross-dressing, 'identical' twins, a misunderstood fool and dark sorcery are but some of the knavery you can expect.

The Riant Theatre Kicks Off 2014 STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL Today

The Riant Theatre under the direction of Artistic Director Van Dirk Fisher, has announced its 26th Anniversary season lineup for the Strawberry One-Act Festival, which consists of 21 new one-acts and 3 full length plays that will run today, August 20th -- August 31st at the Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th St.
