Sometimes when you travel, the trip is long and boring. There are crying babies, you sit next to someone who snores, and/or you’re lonely. This was not the case with Broadway World’s favorite MC and guest writer Blake Woodson during his recent trip to Denver. Blake had the privilege to sit next to Arkansas Concert Royalty Dennis Stone and decided to seize the moment by getting to know him better.  

The track follows the release of their song “Too Many Things” earlier this summer. The Linda Lindas kicked off this year with triumphant appearances at Coachella and Boston Calling and have spent the summer on an arena tour opening for Paramore. The historic three-day event set for October 6, 7 and 8 will bring together six iconic bands that define loud and powerful music: Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden (Friday, October 6), AC/DC and Judas Priest (Saturday, October 7) and Metallica and Tool (Sunday, October 8).

An accomplished musician, guitarist and songwriter, Cesar has performed with and recorded alongside artists spanning an eclectic range of music genres, such as Mana, Kirk Hammett, and Rob Trujillo (Metallica), Rex Brown (Pantera), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Snake Sabo (Skid Row), Jared James Nichols, Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest) and Fito Paez.

OXBOW release “Dead Ahead,” the third single, and its accompanying video, from their forthcoming Ipecac Recordings’ debut album, Love’s Holiday. The Bay Area quartet have simultaneously announced their first tour dates in support of the 10-song album, with both east and west coast swings slated for this Fall.

The original song “Bygones (feat. Rob Halford)” with special guests Nikki Sixx and John 5 and a personalized cover of the Rock classic “Magic Man (Carl Version) (feat. Ann Wilson)” with special guest Howard Leese are available now. The second and third tracks follow the release of Parton’s self-penned lead single “World On Fire.”

Cardinal du Four Armagnac 21 Rébellion was a hit at GBK Brand Bar's 'Backstage Artist Lounge' held in October during the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The live event took place on November 5 in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater. The special will feature performances from Sara Bareilles, Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeran, Sheryl Crow, Dave Growl, P!nk, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, and Zac Brown Band. Watch the video trailer for the new special now!

The shows in Boston, MA (October 7th); New York, NY (October 13th) and Washington, DC (October 15th) were announced last month, and fans demanded more performances after learning that the tour would feature former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and legendary bassist Dave LaRue all on the same stage.

On Friday, April 1, I had the pleasure of seeing the ACT of CT’s unique adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.  This 1971 musical that is primarily told through music with lyrics by Tim Rice has been redesigned and reinterpreted by the director, Daniel C. Levine who has incorporated elements of The Handmaid’s Tale into this adaptation. 

The weekend’s stellar lineup of rock and metal heavyweights features headliners Slipknot and Rob Zombie (Thursday), KISS and Judas Priest (Friday), My Chemical Romance and Papa Roach (Saturday) and Foo Fighters and Shinedown (Sunday), along with a range of additional top music artists.

Jonathan Garcia and Mckenna Knouse are standouts in a talented cast that brings this joyfully macabre show to life.
