The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today the film nominees for the 26th annual Critics Choice Awards.  The winners will be revealed LIVE on The CW on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 7-10pm ET/PT, with acclaimed film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs returning to host for his third consecutive time. 

The Hollywood Critics Association is pleased to reveal the full list of nominees for the 4th Annual HCA Film Awards. The virtual awards ceremony will stream on the official HCA Facebook page and YouTube channel on Friday, March 5, 2021, beginning at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.

Searchlight Pictures “Nomadland” will have its New York premiere as the Centerpiece Selection of the 58th New York Film Festival, presented by Film at Lincoln Center, this Saturday, September 26th, with two drive-in screenings in Queens at the New York Hall of Science and Brooklyn located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

Folk-influenced indie pop band The National Parks are excited to announce the launch of their own festival experience in 2020 called Superbloom Music Festival as first revealed via Billboard.com. The first-ever Superbloom will take place Saturday, April 25th at The OC Tanner Amphitheater at Zion National Park in the band's home state of Utah and will feature a headlining set from The National Parks along with performances from Joshua James, The Strike, Tow'rs, The Federal Empire, Ellee Duke and Brother. A special VIP pre-fest event on Friday, April 24th is also confirmed with an exclusive campfire acoustic show from The National Parks at a location to be announced. Gates will open at 1pm with music running from 2-10pm. Matias Haavisto is a singer-songwriter also known as Herman, the banjo player in Steve'n'Seagulls - the band that went viral after releasing their bluegrassy version of AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' on YouTube. Matias and the Canyons is a four-piece band that was born in spring 2019 when Matias (vocals, banjo, guitar), Jarkko (Guitar), Luis (Bass) and Janne (Drums) entered a rehearsal room and started playing Haavisto's new songs. It was the first time they ever played together, but the band had the sound Matias was looking for right from the beginning.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

Rubasingham directs Richard Cant (Peter/Ivar at 58/Landlord), Karen Fishwick (Daisy/Clare), Pamela Hardman (Character Actress /Marjorie/Embassy Assistant), Joshua James (Robert/Finn/Ivar at 28), Calam Lynch (Eric/Cas) and Sirine Saba (Suzannah). The production opens on 4 June, with previews from 30 May, and runs until 6 July, coinciding with London's Pride parade.

The American Society of Cinematographers today announced the nominees for all five competitive categories of the 33rd Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards.
