Nominations for the 37th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were announced today by theatre veterans Lilli Cooper and Lea DeLaria, stars of Broadway’s POTUS. With COVID safety in mind, rather than having one host and multiple presenters, this year the Awards will be handed out by a few Host/Presenter pairs on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at NYU Skirball beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League and Lucille Lortel Theatre, with additional support provided by TDF.
FSCJ Artist Series Events Announce New Season

The FSCJ Artist Series Broadway in Jacksonville sponsored by VyStar Credit Union, is proud to announce its 56th Anniversary Season will include Disney’s ALADDIN, ELF THE MUSICAL, PRETTY WOMAN, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and MEAN GIRLS. All performances will be at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts formerly known as Times-Union Center, 300 Water St, Jacksonville, FL. Renewals for previous season ticket subscribers will be available beginning April 5, 2022.

The Carole King Musical will return to the Paramount Theatre for three performances only – on Friday, April 8 (8pm) and Saturday, April 9 (2pm and 8pm). The two previously scheduled performances on Sunday, April 10 (1pm and 6:30 pm) have been cancelled due to the limited availability of transportation to ship the set to the tour’s next engagement.
