BroadwayWorld has just confirmed the complete casting for the upcoming North American Tour of the Tony, Grammy Award-winning musical BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING Musical. The show will premiere at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, on September 15-20, 2015, and will play single- and multi-week engagements in the 2015/16 touring season and beyond. The full cast of Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, just performed in City Parks Foundation's SummerStage festival in Central Park. The free event was comprised of all of the classic hits from the Broadway production, performed concert-style in Central Park. Music Theatre Wichita continues its 44th summer season with Andrew Lippa and John August's Big Fish the musical,  a stage adaptation based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and subsequent Tim Burton film.

 Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announce that the Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Boston premiere. The U.S. National Tour will play a limited two week engagement at the Boston Opera House November 3 - 15, 2015. In the iconic title role of Carole King will be Abby Mueller. Mueller's sister, Jessie Mueller, won the Tony Award in 2014 Best Actress in a Musical her portrayal of King in the show's Broadway production. Beautiful-The Carole King Musical is part of the 2015-2016 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

Jonathan Groff may have been away from Broadway for a while, but this season he is taking the musical theatre community by storm. This spring he appeared in The Public Theater's breakthrough production of HAMILTON as King George III, a role he will follow to Broadway later this summer. He also appeared in a sold-out concert event of HOW TO SUCCEED, performed at London's Royal Festival Hall. Now, Groff is taking on the role of 'Gordon' in A NEW BRAIN, as part of ENCORES!
