'I'm so excited. And I'm still pinching myself every day trying to figure out if this is actually happening or if it's all just a dream!' It's not just a dream for 13 year-old Holden William Hagelberger, who this fall, makes his New York stage debut as the titular character in Trevor: The Musical.

The Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful—The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Detroit return at the Fisher Theatre, January 4-9, 2022.

Trevor: The Musical is about a charming 13-year-old force of nature with a vivid imagination. As he deals with becoming a teenager, Trevor struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world.

More than 66,000 people attended 24 performances of Wicked, making it the longest and highest-grossing engagement of a Broadway show that has ever played in the Triad. The musical has had en estimated $11 million impact on the local economy.

Beginning with tonight’s first preview, a limited number of $35 digital lottery tickets will be available for each performance of Trevor: The Musical, now playing at Stage 42 (442 West 42nd Street, near 9th Avenue). The show will officially open on Wednesday, November 10.

The Stage 42 box office for Trevor: The Musical will open this Monday, October 11 at 12pm. Trevor: The Musical will begin performances Monday, October 25, 2021, and open Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Stage 42 (442 West 42nd Street, near 9th Avenue).

The North American tour of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Sara Sheperd (Carole King), James D. Gish (Gerry Goffin), Sara King (Cynthia Weil), Ryan Farnsworth (Barry Mann), Matt Loehr (Don Kirshner) and Rachel Coloff (Genie Klein) to the Company.

Little Island, New York City’s new public park in Hudson River Park by W. 13th Street, will begin performances for the 2021 Dance Festival tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15. The percussive dance focused festival is Co-curated by Little Island Artist-in-Residence Ayodele Casel and Torya Beard and will run through Sunday, September 19.

13-year-old Holden William Hagelberger from Sugarland, Texas has been cast in the role of “Trevor” in Trevor: The Musical, following a process which included a national virtual casting call with over 1300 submissions.  Learn all about it here. 

The production will hold technical rehearsals and performances at Chicago's CIBC Theatre (November 2-7, 2021) before embarking on its 2021-22 North American Touring season. Casting will be announced later.
