It was announced today that a new block of tickets for COME FROM AWAY on Broadway are now on sale through November 3, 2019 at Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

This edition celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the series. 

Wonderful cast directed by Tina Landau is a nice diversion from presidential politics.

Dave, new musical, is now on stage at Arena Stage. By three-time Tony Award winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, Hairspray, The Producers), two-time Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin (Mean Girls, Legally Blonde) and Pulitzer Prize and two-time Tony Award winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, IfThen), Dave is inspired by the Academy Award-nominated American political comedy film. The world-premiere engagement is produced by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, The Donners' Company and Larger Than Life. Under the direction of Tony Award nominee Tina Landau, and with choreography by Tony Award nominee Sam Pinkleton and music direction by Rob Berman, Dave runs July 13-August 19, 2018 in the Kreeger Theater.

'Dave' is a really fun show with a strong cast. It's just the right kind of show we need in DC right now. While questions might emerge as to whether it can play elsewhere, I would suggest that no matter where you live, you may be eager to immerse yourself in a world of political optimism for a few hours.

From a Tony and Pulitzer Prize award-winning creative team comes the world-premiere musical comedy DAVE, adapted from the Oscar-nominated film. DAVE tells the story ofhigh school teacher (and presidential lookalike) DAVE Kovic, who is hired by the Secret Service as a stand-in for the Commander-in-Chief. When the President falls ill under less than 'presidential' circumstances, DAVE is thrust into the Oval Office to avoid a national scandal, and must find a way to gain the trust and love of the American people...and the First Lady. Josh Breckenridge stars as Duane Bolden in Arena Stage's upcoming premiere of 'Dave,' which opens July 13th and runs through August 19th. Breckenridge is known for a number of roles including his current run as the Dance Captain and standby in 'Come From Away' and Olen Montgomery in 'Scottsboro Boys.' He was last seen on the DC stage as the Doctor in the first national tour of 'The Book of Mormon.'

Junkyard Dog Productions announces today that the North American Tour of the Tony Award-winning smash hit Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY will launch at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The tour will go on to play more than 60 cities including Los Angeles, CA (The Ahmanson); Denver, CO (Buell Theatre); San Francisco, CA (Golden Gate Theatre); Vancouver, BC (Queen Elizabeth); Calgary, AB (Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium); Orlando, FL (Dr. Phillips Center); Cleveland, OH (Connor Palace); Ottawa, ON (National Art Centre) and many more across the United States and Canada.

The Actors Fund announced today that Come From Away has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Ed Dixon, 2017 Drama Desk winner for Best Solo Performance (Georgie), will star, along with Tony-nominated Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins, Fun Home), in two invite-only industry presentations of the new musical, Piece of Mind, by Geoffrey Goldberg (book and lyrics) and Steve Sweeting (music). The readings will be directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell), music directed by Eric Fotre Leach, and produced by Seaglass Theatrical.
