Maryland Ensemble Theatre is set to kick off their 26th Mainstage season with the highly anticipated production of Angels in America Part II: Perestroika. Following the resounding success of Angels in America, Part I: MIllennium Approaches last spring, this theatrical masterpiece continues to captivate audiences with its poignant storytelling, powerful performances, and thought-provoking themes.

Ken Ludwig's Baskerville - A Sherlock Holmes Mystery is without question the most brilliantly funny adaptations of one of Holmes' most famous cases. Since it was first published in the Strand Magazine between August 1901 and April 1902, The Hound of the Baskerville has become possibly the most well known case of the crime fighting duo, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. In Ludwig's version, as Holmes and Watson work to solve the case, only three other actors play all 43 other roles in the play; more often than not, changing those characters in a split second right before your very eyes. That's right. Ludwig wrote the show to only have five people in the cast!

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to welcome one of the greatest detectives in literary history this spring with its production of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville - A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

The most popular show of the year at Way Off Broadway is always the dinner theatre's original holiday production. In past seasons, tickets for the holiday presentation have often sold out before the show even opens making them the hottest ticket at the area's only year-round producing theatre. This year, Way Off Broadway will give audiences something of a glimpse, albeit a slightly exaggerated one, of what goes into putting on a holiday show with Stage Door Christmas.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present a staging of Elf Jr. a?" The Musical as a special Family Theatre Holiday Event for the upcoming Christmas season. Performances of the family friendly production will begin November 23rd and run through December 22nd at the popular Frederick theatre venue.

Producers Justin M. Kiska, Jessica Billones, and Way Off Broadway are teaming up to bring the Post Off-Broadway Regional Theatre Premiere of the new musical comedy The Book of Merman to Frederick for a special engagement this fall. The production will play three performances only at Way Off Broadway, November 15th through the 17th.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2019/2020 Season kicks off in September with the cult comedy classic Little Shop of Horrors. The production will be the first in the theatre's six-show, 26th Season.

They discover strange hieroglyphics in a spooky cave, which speak of an ancient legend. The weather gets rough, Gilligan foils the best-laid of the castaway's rescue plans, romance develops, and the castaways have an out-of-this-world encounter! It's fun, wacky, and entertaining.
