The ninth annual “Night of A Thousand Judys” – the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center written and hosted by Justin Sayre – will be presented as a streaming online event on Thursday, June 24 at 8:00 PM Eastern.

Additionally, Thoughts of a Colored Man is set to come to Broadway on October 31. The production will star Dyllón Burnside, Keith David, Luke James, and more.

While filming a virtual benefit for the York Theatre, Andre De Shields was surprised by two producers and a Senator.

Senator Brad Hoylman surprised the Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner André De Shields with a Senate Proclamation on Thursday April 8th, 2021 proclaiming the day “André De Shields Appreciation Day”. The surprise proclamation was arranged by producer Tom D’Angora to honor the extensive charity work Mr. De Shields has done for the community this year.

The York Theatre Company announced today an anonymous donor WILL match all donations this week up $50,000 as part of its “Rebuild The York” campaign which leads up to the Gala Benefit performance of THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS (THE MUSICAL!)…AND MORE!, which begins streaming on demand on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 7:00PM.
