Centerstage Theatre is launching into a season of Mischief, Merriment, and Mayhem, starting with the World's Greatest Detective, Sherlock Holmes. Aided by his courageous and loyal friend Dr. John Watson, Holmes takes on one of his most challenging cases in SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE'S THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES.

Director Daniel DeVault has assembled a stellar cast for the latest production onstage at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre a?" Steven Dietz's Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure a?" who bring the tale to life with enthusiasm and vigor that's leavened by enough humor to keep even the most discerning of theater-goers actively engaged in what transpires upon the magical floating stage at the venerable Nashville venue.

Austin Playhouse has added a matinee to the run of Holmes and Watson on Saturday, September 21st at 2:00 pm.

Opening September 14, the production runs through October 12 on Fridays, Saturdays, and select Thursdays at 8:00 pm.

The plot is definitely about to thicken, as Stage West presents the regional premiere of Jeffrey Hatcher's Holmes and Watson, in a 5-week regional premiere run at Stage West beginning Thursday, May 30.

Sherlock Holmes fans! Boston University writers created a new TV series based on Stephen King's 'The Doctor's Case' short story. 'Holmes Legacy: The Doctor's Cases' is a six-episode drama about an older Dr. John Watson, who uses his memories of Sherlock Holmes to foil a new Moriarty and protect present-day London. Experience the live staged reading by professional actors at WBUR's CitySpace from 12-3 p.m. on April 27-28, 2019.

Mystery takes the stage at Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples' premier professional regional theater, with its latest production "Holmes and Watson." Filled with frauds, fakes and charlatans all claiming to be the real Sherlock Holmes, Dr. John Watson is on a mission to solve the mystery of the "real Sherlock Holmes." Packed with twists and turns, this adventurous production runs March 23 through April 20.

Fan-favorite comedy duo, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers) team up for a brand-new take on the timeless characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in HOLMES & WATSON, debuting on Digital March 26, and coming to Blu-ray and DVD April 9 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Go back in time to witness the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes, played by Will Ferrell (Anchorman), and his trusted sidekick John Watson, played by John C. Reilly (Stan & Ollie) as they are tasked to solve a murder at Buckingham Palace before the Queen becomes the killer's next victim.
