Bruce Vilanch, winner of 3 Emmy Awards for writing TV's Oscar telecasts, the popular center square on Hollywood Squares, and the Broadway star of Hairspray, returns for his record 5th appearance as the host of the New York NIghtlife Awards at Town Hall on Monday, January 27th, 7 PM at The Town Hall. Vilanch will be joined on stage by a cast of performers chosen as the most outstanding nightclub entertainers of the past year by the very press that covers them. As in the past, a wide array of major stars from a variety of mediums will both entertain and introduce the winners in support of New York nightlife.

Bay Area Cabaret celebrates the New Year by welcoming back Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli and Broadway actress/singer Jessica Molaskey. The charming husband and wife duo will perform their critically acclaimed Cafe Carlyle show This Must Be the Place, which The New York Times called, 'brilliant,' praising Ms. Molaskey as 'a singer whose radar yields infallible insight into a song's emotional crosscurrents.' Pizzarelli and Molaskey will perform 5pm, Sunday, January 19, at the historic Venetian Room of the Fairmont San Francisco, 950 Mason Street. Grammy-nominated singer and guitarist John Pizzarelli joins the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for the NJSO's first pops program of the season-"Home for the Holidays"-December 14 in Newark and December 15 in New Brunswick. Conductor Thomas Wilkins, a frequent NJSO guest conductor and audience favorite, leads concerts that feature the Salvation Army Montclair Citadel Band and the New Jersey High School Holiday Chorus.
