The Town Hall turns 90 this year, and Scott Siegel brought some of his regular stars together to celebrate.

Jim Caruso is proud to announce the one-night-only musical pairing of renowned jazz vocalists, JANE MONHEIT and PETER ELDRIDGE, as part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series. The event will take place on Monday, May 30 at 7pm at the historic music room, located at 315 West 44 Street in NYC.

Last night, May 2, The Town Hall, led by Marvin Leffler and Lawrence Zucker celebrated its 90th Anniversary with 'Town Hall at 90,' a benefit concert paying tribute to the rich cultural history of the institution from 1921 to the present day. The concert starred Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, Tony Award nominee Liz Callaway, Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk, Theatre world and Emmy Award winner Tovah Feldshuh, legendary Jazz guitarist and banjoist Bucky Pizzarelli and Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner. Dancers/choreographers Jeffry Denman ('White Christmas,' 'Yank!') and Noah Racey ('Curtains') danced together. Scott Siegel, creator/writer and host of The Town Hall's acclaimed Broadway By The Year series, has written and will host the evening. The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. Starring Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott, the team behind Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, Baby It's You! began performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) Saturday, March 26, 2011, and opens TONIGHT, April 27, 2011, at 6:30pm. Baby It's You! features a cast of 19 that includes Allan Louis, Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra DaCosta, Crystal Starr Knighton, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Brandon Uranowitz, Alison Cimmet, Erica Dorfler, Berlando Drake, Adam Heller, Jahi A. Kearse, Annette Moore, Zachary Prince, Ken Robinson and Chelsea Morgan Stock.

The 54th Monterey Jazz Festival, three-time winner of the JazzTimes Readers poll for 'World's Best Jazz Festival' takes place September 16 - 18 at the Monterey Fairgrounds, home to the Festival for 54 consecutive years.

The Sheldon presents The Sheldon Jazz Quintet, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10 and 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries at 9 a.m. in the beautiful Louis Spiering Room. Led by guitarist Rick Haydon, The Sheldon Jazz Quintet features St. Louis all-stars performing straight-ahead jazz and swinging jazz standards! Haydon will be joined by acclaimed vocalist Mardra Thomas, and a rhythm section including pianist Reggie Thomas and drummer Miles Vandiver.

Pizzarelli's performance will feature music from his latest album, Rockin' in Rhythm, a tribute to jazz pianist/composer Duke Ellington, whom Pizzarelli calls 'jazz's greatest star!' Songs such as 'Don't Get Around Much Anymore,' 'I'm Beginning to See the Light,' 'Satin Doll' and 'In My Solitude' are re-interpreted with Pizzarelli's trademark style and personality, but with great respect towards the original compositions.
