2019 FRINGE ENCORE SERIES Kicks Off Next Week

Darren Lee Cole, producing artistic director of the not-for-profit, SoHo Playhouse and associate producer Matthew Quinn are proud to kick-off this year's Encore Series with a quartet of kick-ass shows including Anya Anastasia: The Executioners, Police Cops: Bad Ass Be Thy Name, Orpheus and Eurydice and Dandy Darkly's All Aboard! among the 18 productions featured this year.

Salon/Sanctuary Concerts to Present CARTHAGE CONQUER'D

Their fall season closes with music of Cavalli, Couperin, DeVisée, Legrenzi, Montéclair, and Purcell, in alternation with traditional North African Taksim improvisations in this original program previously presented by the Sorbonne and NYU Villa La Pietra in Florence, Italy. 

Lineup Announced For 15th Annual FRINGE ENCORE SERIES At SoHo Playhouse

Darren Lee Cole, producing artistic director of the not-for-profit, SoHo Playhouse and Associate producer Matthew Quinn are proud to announce the first round of selections for this year's Fringe Encore Series. The first set of productions hail from Adelaide, Auckland, Brighton, Hollywood, Edinburgh, Orlando, New Zealand & Vancouver and will feature some of the best productions from around the world.  This year's Fringe Encores Series will take place between November 27 a?" Russian Mikhail Timoshenko Wins Wigmore Hall International Song Competition

After four days of rounds in front of a distinguished panel of jurors and Wigmore Hall audiences, 25-year-old Russian bass-baritone Mikhail Timoshenko tonight [Wednesday 11 September] won the £10,000 First Prize at Wigmore Hall's International Song Competition, sponsored for the first time by Independent Opera.

New Generation Theatrical has announced the 16 play selections that will perform in the inaugural Be Original Theater Festival at the Dr. Phillips Center. Five Boroughs Music Festival (5BMF) announces programming for its 13th season in 2019-2020, continuing its mission of bringing affordable, world-class performances of traditional and contemporary chamber music to all five boroughs of New York City. A.D. Players at The George Theater Announce New Artistic Director At Their Second Annual After Dinner Affair Gala

A.D. Players at The George hosted their second annual After Dinner Affair on Saturday March 23. The event celebrated all the theater has accomplished in the last year, and looked forward to the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Over 450 guests were in attendance for the West Side Story themed evening, enjoying dinner catered by Churrascos, a silent auction, dessert and champagne, and show stopping entertainment of Broadway favorites supported by a full band and featuring some of Houston's top vocal talent such as; Jake and Emily Speck, Chelsea McCurdy, Brooke Wilson, and out of town guests John-Mark McGaha, Mike Elred, and Piper Jones.

Brandi Carlile Announces Select 2019 Tour Dates

Brandi Carlile will continue her extensive tour through 2019 including a special debut headline performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden on September 14. Additional stops include Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, St. Paul's Minnesota State Fair, Philadelphia's The Mann and Berkeley's The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley among others.
