HBO has renewed the critically acclaimed original drama series TRUE DETECTIVE for a fifth season. This season, ‘True Detective: Night Country,’ concluded February 18. Additionally, under a new multiyear overall deal with HBO, Issa López will create content exclusive to HBO and Max, including the next season of “True Detective.”

The six-episode HBO Original drama series TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY, starring Academy Award®-winner and Emmy®-nominated Jodie Foster and Kali Reis, also features Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, with Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and John Hawkes. Guest stars are Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, June Thiele, Diane Benson, and Joel D. Montgrand.

HBO has released the teaser video for the original drama series TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY, starring Jodie Foster, Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, and Joel D. A total of 38 feature-length movies – evenly divided between narrative and documentary - are slated to screen, with the majority making their World Premiere, West Coast Premiere, US Premiere, Los Angeles Premieres, and all eligible for awards.

The 22nd edition of the fiercely independent film festival, Dances With Films (DWF) concluded on Sunday evening (June 23) with a closing night celebration at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood where the excitement was electric throughout the arena. 

A Rugby Story – a new documentary by Rashid Kadura, will premier at Dances With Films on Thursday, June 20th, at 2:45PM at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood.  The film takes a heart-wrenching look at a group of rugby players in Benghazi, Libya who cope with the realities of a civil war, as they come together to form Libya's first national rugby team.  The film was produced by Abdulfatah Khabaz, Moh Soliman and Kadura.
