Last night, Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) held its HOPE IN HARMONY: Fundraising Cocktail Party and Award Ceremony on October 9, 2023, at Sony Hall located at the Paramount Hotel.

Joining the board at its annual fall meeting on October 7, 2021, were music director Ted Arthur, City National Bank Executive Vice President Linda Duncombe, actor Mandy Gonzalez, lyricist/composer Amanda Green, Times Square Alliance Executive Director Tom Harris, stage manager Kenneth J. McGee and actor John Eric Parker.

Casting is being announced for the Broadway return of THE BOOK OF MORMON. The production, the winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album, resumes performances on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street).

Only Human, a new pop-rock musical starring Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated and BAFTA Award-winning actor Gary Busey as God, opened just last night, October 21, at the Theatre at St. Clements (423 West 46th Street).

Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930's New York City. She is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC, finds herself a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
