Broadway veteran Elizabeth Ward Land (AMAZING GRACE, MEMPHIS, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL) returns to The Green Room 42 with her acclaimed concert STILL WITHIN THE SOUND OF MY VOICE- THE SONGS OF LINDA RONSTADT for three shows, January 16, 17 and 18, 2020 at 7pm. Touching on genres ranging from rock, country, folk, light opera, big band and mariachi, Elizabeth Ward Land finds her perfect vocal match in this salute to the great Linda Ronstadt. Featuring hits from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers vast catalogue, including YOU'RE NO GOOD, BLUE BAYOU, DIFFERENT DRUM, DESPERADO, FRENESI and HEAT WAVE, the evening promises something for every music lover. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS announced it will record the new musical comedy Broadway Bounty Hunter for an original cast album to be released later this season. Featuring music and lyrics by Tony Award Nominee Joe Iconis (a?oeSmash,a?? Be More Chill, The Black Suits), who also co-wrote the book with Lance Rubin (Denton Little's Deathdate), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill), the show is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner (The Book of Mormon Supervising Associate Director) and stars Screen Actors Guild Award winner Annie Golden (Hair, Assassins, a?oeOrange is the New Blacka??) in the title role. The album will be produced by Joe Iconis and Charlie Rosen, and co-produced by Geoffrey Ko and Ian Kagey, with Jennifer Ashley Tepper serving as executive producer.

On Monday, November 18th, LGBTQIA+ stars from Broadway, Off-Broadway, and television will come together in support of The Fund for College Auditions (TFCA) at The Secret Room as part of the Hidden Cabaret series. The evening will be headlined by Andy Mientus (Les Miserables, Spring Awakening, Smash), Anastacia McCleskey (The Secret Life of Bees, Waitress), John-Michael Lyles (A Strange Loop) with Host and Musical Director, Joel Waggoner (Be More Chill, School of Rock).

We just had a BLAST this past Thursday at Broadway Sessions during our All-Star Open Mic Party! Along with guest host, Anthony Fett, and our incredible Open-Mic singers, we were joined by guest performers Carly Sakolove, Giuseppe Bausillio, Zurin Villanueva, Joel Waggoner, Lauren Elder, Josh Walker, Vishal Vaidya, Josh Bardier, Paul HeeSang Miller and Tim Young! Our fierce Open Mic-ers had a song in our heart, and we are so thrilled that they joined us and helped make it a night to remember! 

Last night in the heart of the Theatre District, Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, hosted its annual New York City Benefit, BSC/NYC to celebrate its 25th Anniversary Season. The annual event raised $110K for Barrington Stage's Julianne Boyd New Works Fund. The one-night only cabaret took place at the The Green Room 42.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

THE PECULIAR TALE OF THE PRINCE OF BOHEMIA AND THE SOCIETY OF DESPERATE VICTORIANS... is an off-beat, dark comedy adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's THE SUICIDE CLUB. A rock-influenced score, deadly high stakes, and a hilarious book make THE PECULIAR TALE... a unique and wildly entertaining night at the theatre.
