New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its award-winning New Works Series on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals The Loophole and The Bridge. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers. 

BREATHE, a new musical conceived by #1 New York Times bestselling novelist Jodi Picoult (in her theatrical debut) and playwright Timothy Allen McDonald, just had its world premiere exclusively on OVERTURE+ on Friday, May 14th.

New York Theatre Barn will present concerts of work written by members of Tony Award-winning writer William Finn’s (Falsettos, Spelling Bee) first two virtual Master Classes in Lyric Writing. The non-profit theatre company that serves as a home for original culture shifting musicals during incubation will offer two free live stream presentations.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its award-winning New Works Series on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals Hart Island and Cowboy Bob. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and creative team. 

New York Theatre Barn will continue to host free live streams of its New Works Series on select Wednesday evenings at 7PM ET. Hart Island features performances by Natascia Diaz, Rodney Hicks and Gizel Jiménez. Cowboy Bob features Ashley Pérez Flanagan and Grace McLean.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its New Works Series on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals Co-Founders and She Reached For Heaven. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and creative team.

New York Theatre Barn has announced that it has named Kate Trammell as its Managing Director and Pauls Macs as its Artistic Associate. Under the direction of Joe Barros (Artistic Director) and Jen Sandler (Associate Artistic Director), New York Theatre Barn is an anti-racist  non-profit theatre company that has served as a home for original culture shifting musicals during incubation since 2007.

New York Theatre Barn will continue to host free live streams of its New Works Series on select Wednesday evenings at 7PM ET. Each installment of the live 1-hour series includes excerpts from two new musicals and a conversation with the writers and creative team.

The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and creative team. 

New York Theatre Barn will host A Seat at the Table: A Panel on Women In Theatre on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 at 7PM EDT. The live virtual roundtable presentation will serve as a benefit for the non-profit organization that has served as a home for original musicals since 2007.

New York Theatre Barn will continue to host free live streams of its New Works Series on select Wednesday evenings at 7PM ET. For the past year, the company has presented 37 virtual installments of its New Works Series (among other programming), showcased 78 new musicals, and lifted up the work of 131 writers and over 400 artists.
