Edmund Bagnell, 1st Violinist & vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well-Strung, will star in the New Orleans premiere of He Plays The Violin at Cafe Istanbul in New Orleans on April 10 at 8 PM. The show was developed by New Works Provincetown at The Art House this fall and includes a brand new song written for Mr. Bagnell by Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens & War Paint).

Rapeteta Theatre Company has announced its inaugural production Hurlyburly by David Rabe, coming in April 2020. The revival is directed by Pitr Strait of Torn Out Theatre (Hamlet, The Tempest) and performed at HB Studio's iconic Bank St Theatre in New York City. The cast will be announced in February 2020, starring women of color in the female roles embracing Rapeteta's mission to focus on the original intent of the play through the lens of today's moral values.

Area theatergoers will no doubt want to see Gleason host 'Winter at the Playhouse: A Holiday Benefit Concert' in Westport in December. Through stories and song, the evening celebrates all things music, from classical to standards and from pop to Broadway, and of course with a good dose of fiddle thrown in.
