Martin, Adam Pascal, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Fredi Walker and other ensemble members will reunite to perform 'Seasons of Love' at Broadway Celebrates Pride, a virtual fundraiser for Democratic congressional candidates.

Authentic Community Theatre in Hagerstown, MD plans on bringing in the New Year with a bang. Authentic Community Theatre (ACT) first announced August 1st, 2019 via a Facebook video that Wilson Jermaine Heredia (best known for being in the Original Broadway Cast of RENT and the 2005 film adaptation) would be joining their cast of West Side Story. The Tony Award winner came to ACT December 1, 2018 to teach a master class in conjunction with their production of RENT which took place in March 2019 at the historic Maryland Theatre to over 1500 people in just 2 nights.

Cherry Lane Theatre concludes their season with the World Premiere of ORIGINAL SOUND, by Adam Seidel, directed by Elena Araoz with music direction by Daniel Ocanto. ORIGINAL SOUND will begin performances on Tuesday, April 30 run through June 8, 2019, and will celebrate its opening night tonight, May 9, 2019

Cherry Lane Theatre will conclude their season with the World Premiere of ORIGINAL SOUND, by Adam Seidel, directed by Elena Araoz with music direction by Daniel Ocanto. ORIGINAL SOUND will begin performances on Tuesday, April 30 run through June 8, 2019, and will celebrate its opening night on May 9, 2019, at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan). There are just a few days until the latest batch of bohemians step into the iconic shoes of Jonathan Larson's family of friends in Rent Live. But according to some exciting new social media posts, it seems Broadway's original cast will also take part in the live event.

Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Pedro Pan, winner of the 2017 NYMF Developmental Reading Series Award with book by Rebecca Aparicio and music and lyrics by Stephen Elkins, will be presented as an official selection of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project beginning July 10th at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row.
