SHOWTIME has announced that Oscar®, Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominee Juliette Lewis (Camping) and Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything) have joined the hour-long drama pilot YELLOWJACKETS as series regulars, along with Ella Purnell (Sweetbitter), Sammi Hanratty (SHAMELESS), Sophie Thatcher (Prospect), Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Steven Krueger (The Originals) and Amy Okuda (Atypical). They join previously announced cast Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable) and Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers). Produced for SHOWTIME by Entertainment One (eOne), YELLOWJACKETS was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), who are executive producing and serving as showrunners. Karyn Kusama (Destroyer) will executive produce and direct the pilot. Drew Comins of Creative Engine also serves as executive producer.

Alex Noyer Announces Cast for Directorial Debut CONDUCTOR

Cast Of WHAT YOU ARE Announced At The Old Globe

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of What You Are, a Globe-commissioned new play by JC Lee and the second show in the 2018-2019 Season developed in the Powers New Voices Festival. Directed by Patricia McGregor, What You Are will run May 30 - June 30, 2019 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run May 30 - June 5. Opening night is Thursday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale now. CRAZY RICH ASIANS, BLACK PANTHER Among Winners at the ADG 'Excellence in Production Design' Awards

The Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) announced winners of its 23rd Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards in 11 categories of film, television, commercials, music videos and animation features, during a black-tie dinner gala at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown on Saturday night, February 2, 2019.  The Favourite (Fiona Crombie), Black Panther (Hannah Beachler), Crazy Rich Asians (Nelson Coates), Isle of Dogs (Adam Stockhausen, Paul Harrod) won Best Production Design for Feature Film. Television winners included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Bill Groom), The Handmaid's Tale (Mark White, Elisabeth Williams), The Alienist (Mara LePere-Schloop), Glow (Todd Fjelsted), and Sesame Street (David Gallo) respectively. Additional winners include Apple: Welcome Home(Christopher Glass) and The Oscars: 90th Academy Awards (Derek McLane).

The 23rd Annual Art Directors Guild  (ADG, IATSE, Local 800) Awards will livestream the Red Carpet from their new location at the InterContinental Hotel Los Angeles Downtown on Saturday, February 2nd beginning at 5:15 pm PT/8:15 pm ET. Hosted by Emmy®-winning Production Designer James Pearse Connelly (The Voice, The Masked Singer) and actor/comedienne Dierdre Friel (Second Act), the “ADG Livestream from the Red Carpet” is co-produced by SDSU School of Theatre, Television and Film, and IngleDodd Media.  

ABC Announces Midseason Premiere Date for SCANDAL Series Finale & More

The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the new dramas The Crossing, Deception, For The People and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, as well as new comedies Alex, Inc. and Splitting Up Together. Additionally, American Idol will air Sundays and Mondays, beginning March 11. Dates have also been set for the premiere of Dancing with the Stars All-Athletes Edition and the return of Quantico.
