Kiln Theatre  has announced the full cast for the return of Zadie Smith's The Wife of Willesden, directed by Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham.

The National Theatre has announced upcoming programming, starring Callum Scott Howells, Janet McTeer and Fay Ripley, including three new productions, Shakespeare In Schools and a US tour.

Indhu Rubasingham's revival of Buffini’s play is playful and fiercely funny, whilst deftly tackling serious issues. It explores the battle of wills between two powerful women: The Queen and Margaret Thatcher, through the eleven years Thatcher served as Prime Minister.

With Marina Carr’s Girl on an Altar opening later this month, Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre Indhu Rubasingham today announces a major revival of Moira Buffini’s critically acclaimed Handbagged. Reprising their roles are Marion Bailey as ‘Q’, an Older Queen Elizabeth II and Kate Fahy as ‘T’, an Older Margaret Thatcher, with further cast to be announced shortly.

Kiln Theatre today announces the appointment of Sita McIntosh as Chair. McIntosh was a previous Trustee of Kiln Theatre and will be joining the current Board of Directors: Moyra McGarth Brown, Nicholas Basden, Dominic Cooke CBE, Karen Napier, Shrina Shah and Christopher Yu. Black Love launches the theatre's 2022 season, transforming the venue into the round.
