To reach a 20th anniversary is a major accomplishment for any band--and in 2017, STS9will officially hit that milestone. To mark the occasion, the acclaimed and adventurous electronic rock band has announced their celebrations will kick off with a three-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO September 8-10 featuring a slew of support acts including some of the band's longtime friends.

Acclaimed electronic rock band STS9 today (8/26) have partnered with Consequence of Sound to give fans an early listen to their new album THE UNIVERSE INSIDE--the band's first new full-length studio album in nearly seven years--ahead of its official Friday, September 2 release

Due to the high audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre adds three more 9pm performances to the hit cabaret show, YESTERDAY, and extends its third Winter Mainstage show, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR. Additional shows of Yesterday will be held on March 8 at 9pm, March 22 at 9pm, and April 5 at 9pm. OUTSIDE MULLINGAR is now held over through April 2.

The British are coming! FST celebrates 20 years of Cabaret with the opening of its second Winter Cabaret show of the season, Yesterday. Developed by Richard Hopkins, Rebecca Hopkins, and Jim Prosser, the show opens in Florida Studio Theatre's Goldstein Cabaret on Friday, January 9, 2016.  Subscriptions for all three shows can be purchased for as little as $39.  On October 26th, 2015 at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, award-winning composer/lyricist Alexander Sage Oyen was featured in the Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul.

Performer Lauren Testerman has had to drop out of I HATE NY: A LOVE STORY due to schedule issues. It was announced this morning that EVITA star Megan Koumis will take over Testerman's track in the show.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre will present I HATE NY: A LOVE STORY, a show benefitting the charity Angels on Call, on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the popular Theatre Row venue in the heart of midtown.

It's that time of year again for the ever popular pumpkin spice latte, apple-caramel scented candles, and of course, the start of FST Improv's Fall season. Beginning October 17, Sarasota's Original Anti-Depressant returns! FST Improv will perform a variety of shows including Out Of Bounds, We're Doomed! Halloween Special, When X Meets Y Holiday Special, Life's A Beach, and more. No matter your comedic tastes, FST Improv has something for everyone. Performances will be held every Saturday and select Fridays at 7:30pm with full menu and bar available. I have to say that this is not a show for everyone, but I liked it much more than I thought I would. It was funny, had some really nice acting and had a point to make. I am so glad that I was invited and made the time to see this interesting play.

 Directed by Trent Blanton, this production aims to give Oliver a grittier, more down to earth feeling than people are used to seeing while still staying true to it's musical theatre roots. The Forestburgh Playhouse was founded in 1947,  and is the oldest continuously operating professional summer theatre in New York State. Dubbed the 'Miracle of the Forest,' close to 30,000 patrons attend various performances every year and the growth shows no signs of slowing down.  As The Forestburgh Playhouse approaches its 69th season, under the new leadership of Producer Franklin Trapp, it continues to thrive and make summer nights special for residents and visitors alike.  

In the spirit of Glee and High School Musical, Red Mountain Theatre Company (RMTC) presents the hilarious and heartwarming Band Geeks, the triumphant story of high school misfits fighting to save their beloved Marching Beavers. The show runs this April 16-19 at the RMTC cabaret. Showtime for Thursday-Saturday is 7:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday is 2 p.m. Tickets start at $30 and are available at redmountaintheatre.org.

The Manatee Players' production of BRIGADOON opens in Stone Hall at the Manatee Performing Arts Center on Thursday January 8 and plays through Sunday January 25, 2015.

2015 is already looking to be a big year for STS9. The acclaimed instrumental electronic rock band—who will kick off the new year in Denver with four nights at the Fillmore Auditorium--have announced multiple night runs in Aspen, Chicago and Athens for February and March.
